Torn
Two lives, two people
that's all it was to be.
Until the day those two met,
it was their destiny.
The two lives fit together,
like a jigsaw puzzle piece.
The two people felt as one,
together forever is what they thought.
The first year was like a dream,
it was if their lives were preplanned.
Then things started to become clear,
as they came into their senior year.
He wanted to go here and she wanted to go there,
their friends and family were being unfair.
Slowly but surely, pulling them apart
until they realized something that broke their hearts.
They saw that they were two different people,
with two different lives in two different worlds....but together in one heart.
