A Daunting Task
Emotions running wild, thoughts flying through my head
Keeping me awake as I lie here in bed
I cant find the words to say, or how to ask and when
But in the end I hope, you'll be my new girl friend
A daunting task awaits
I dodge and procrastinate
I'm afraid of being hurt
But maybe if I flirt
I hope you will see, that commitment scares me
I'll be the best boy friend, that I could ever be
I don't want to rush into anything to quickly
And I don't want to ask you out in anyway typically
This poem has come, to a pleasant end
Will you, be my new girlfriend
